Meet the Cast of "One Fine Day..."
Natalie Watson
Natalie is complicated. She is sweet, generous and kind; angry, angsty and fearful. Her mother died in a car accident when she was 5, and she was raised by her father who has remained single since. She likes bowling, dancing, reading and listening to angry and/or gothy music. She lives in an apartment in a nice part of town with her best friend, Emma and her favourite food is Chinese. She's been seeing her on-again-off-again boyfriend Pierre for 4 years and although she isn't happy in the relationship, she stays because she is afraid to be alone. She works at an accountancy firm downtown as an admin assistant, a job she hates, but she doesn't think she would be able to find other work, as she has no official qualifications. She is a talented singer and writer, and her dream job is to become a novelist.
Emma Baker
Emma and her family moved to town when Emma was 15. Emma met Natalie at school during her first week and they have been best friends ever since. Soon after she got a job at Canned Music, the local record store, where she still works today. Emma loves her job and one day, hopes to own her very own record store. She loves indie music, thai food, shopping, swimming, watching cartoons and playing bass, and has a huge crush on her workmate and bandmate, Sam.
Sam Forrester
Sam works at Canned Music, and lives in his mother and stepfather's basement. He enjoys listening to music (indie rock), playing guitar and playing computer games. His dream job is to play computer games professionally, his favourite food is pizza and his best friend is his dog, Trevor. Sam and Denny formed a band a year ago, but it wasn't until Emma joined that they got motivated to jam together. Sam is completely oblivious to the fact that Emma likes him as anything more than a friend.
Denny Callaghan
Denny and Sam knew each other at high school through Denny's older brother, Brian, but didn't hang out much until they ran into each other at a music store a year ago, and decided to form a band. Denny's favourite pastimes are playing computer games and playing drums, and his favourite food is pizza. He works from home as a freelance computer programmer. Denny and Brian share a small house around the corner from Sam, and their parents live overseas. Denny just recently broke up with his partner of 3 years, David.
Pierre Farraday
Pierre is Natalie's on-again-off-again boyfriend of 4 years. He is arrogant, spoilt and full of self-importance. He lives with his wealthy parents across town and wants to be an actor, even though he has no acting talent. He is in love with Natalie but takes her for granted, and spends most of his time preening and looking in the mirror. He is currently unemployed. He enjoys classical and jazz music, and Indian food.
